What are the dates of this year’s Brisbane Fashion Festival?2022-03-19T15:38:27+10:00

The Fashion Festival will be staged from Monday 22 – Friday 26 August 2022.

Where is the Fashion Festival held?2022-05-14T16:06:42+10:00

The main runway shows will be staged in a purpose-built marquee located in King George Square, Brisbane City Hall. Further activations including Fashion Friday Up Late will take place in Queen Street Mall.

With the impact that COVID-19 is causing around the globe, we at Brisbane Fashion Festival are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons, models, crew and volunteers. We are adopting all the necessary recommendations set down by the Queensland Government to ensure a COVID Safe environment for all.  We respectfully ask that everyone follows these plans so that our wonderful city, Brisbane, is kept safe. Detailed plans will be shared as situations change and these will be made available in advance of this year’s Festival.

Tickets are sold via QTIX. Follow the link on our Events page or visit www.qtix.com.au. Alternatively you can phone QTIX on 136 246 from Wednesday 1 June 2022.

What kinds of tickets are available? Can I choose where I sit?2022-03-19T15:14:34+10:00

For runway Group Shows, ticket options include general admission (allocated seating – you can choose your preferred seat from the available selection), Gold Passes (third-row seating and admission to the VIP Runway Lounge), or Platinum Passes (second-row seating and admission to the VIP Runway Lounge). The seating is raked and each row is on a separate level for optimum viewing.

Which designers are in each Group Show?2022-03-19T15:10:12+10:00

The full list of designers will be announced on Wednesday 1 June, 2022 when tickets go on sale.

How long does each Group Show usually run for?2021-02-25T21:18:45+10:00

Generally, each show runs between 30-40 minutes. Please note that shows do start at advertised times, and seating begins approximately 15 minutes prior to each show. Aim to arrive early so that you can be seated in plenty of time.

Will there be refreshments available for purchase?2022-05-14T16:12:17+10:00

Guests are welcomed at The EPICURE Fashion Bar. Located next to the parade concourse in King George Square, this is the perfect spot for pre- and post-show hospitality.

The EPICURE Fashion Bar will operate each evening from 5.30pm through until 9.00pm. The Fashion Bar will be cashless and any guests looking to purchase should have a credit or debit card.

How do I volunteer at the Brisbane Fashion Festival?2022-03-19T14:45:45+10:00

Each year we enlist the help of volunteers in a number of different areas, including Front of House (ushers), Back of House (dressers) and Drivers. Volunteer applications will open in early July and at this time you will be able to apply online via our Volunteers page.

Can I work as a makeup artist or hairstylist at the Fashion Festival?2021-02-25T21:17:37+10:00

Our official Hair and Makeup Partners for Brisbane Fashion Festival are Schwarzkopf Professional and Issada Cosmetics. We do not employ freelance stylists.

How do you select models for the Fashion Festival?2022-03-19T14:42:02+10:00

Brisbane Fashion Festival only employs experienced runway models from professional modelling agencies. All of our model bookings will be made directly with the agencies. We do not employ freelance models.

How can I apply for Media Accreditation for the Brisbane Fashion Festival?2022-03-19T14:40:05+10:00

This is a consumer ticketed event. We do also welcome a select number of media, bloggers, and photographers to cover the event. If you would like to apply for Media Accreditation, applications are assessed on an individual basis. Applications for Media Accreditation will open closer to the Festival.

If I purchase a Platinum or Gold Pass, where is the VIP Runway located and what time should I arrive?2022-05-14T16:23:08+10:00

The VIP Runway Lounge is open from 5.45pm – 6.45pm prior to the show commencing at 7.00pm. When you arrive at Brisbane City Hall, simply follow the signs to the Hamilton Room located on the ground floor or ask one of our friendly volunteers for directions to the Lounge. Ensure you bring your entrée card included with your ticket, as this is required for access (single entry only).

I am travelling by car, where can I park?2022-05-14T16:19:44+10:00

Car Parking

King George Square Car Park is located underneath King George Square at Brisbane City Hall between Ann and Adelaide Streets. Vehicle entry is via Roma and Adelaide Streets and exit is via Roma Street. Parking rate is a flat fee of $5 on Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm to midnight.

The Myer Centre and QueensPlaza are offering $4 off evening parking for guests attending the Festival. Entry after 4pm and is valid for online bookings only. The promo code is BFF22 and bookings can be made at The Myer Centre or QueensPlaza.

The Brisbane Fashion Festival is a proud supporter of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust – a charity dedicated to caring for the Brisbane community since the 1960s. They provide critical grants and support to local and grassroots charities who help people dealing with our city’s biggest social challenges.
