In 2021 Brisbane Fashion Festival will take the runway ‘to the streets’, taking over King George Square in the heart of Brisbane city from Monday 23 – Wednesday 25 August. This iconic, central location will allow for Brisbane Fashion Festival’s biggest runway yet, inviting hundreds of fashion lovers to revel in each fashion show while keeping the event safe for all involved.

With the impact that COVID-19 is causing around the globe, we at Brisbane Fashion Festival are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons, models, crew and volunteers. We are adopting all the necessary recommendations set down by the Queensland Government to ensure a COVID Safe environment for all.  We respectfully ask that everyone follows these plans so that our wonderful city, Brisbane, is kept safe. Detailed plans will be shared as situations change and these will be made available in advance of this year’s Festival.

Tickets to the 2021 Fashion Festival go on sale through QTIX on Tuesday, 1st June 2021.

What kinds of tickets are available? Can I choose where I sit?2021-02-25T21:19:44+10:00

For runway Group Shows, ticket options include general admission (allocated seating – you can choose your preferred seat from the available selection), Gold Passes (premium seating and admission to the VIP Runway Lounge), or Platinum Passes (front-row seating and admission to the VIP Runway Lounge).

Which designers are in each Group Show?2021-02-25T21:19:23+10:00

The full list of designers will be announced on Tuesday 1 June, 2021 when tickets go on sale.

How long does each Group Show usually run for?2021-02-25T21:18:45+10:00

Generally, each show runs between 30-40 minutes. Please note that shows do start at advertised times, and seating begins approximately 15 minutes prior to each show. Aim to arrive early so that you can be seated in plenty of time.

Will there be refreshments available for purchase?2021-05-25T13:27:16+10:00

Guests are welcomed at The EPICURE Fashion Bar. Located next to the parade concourse in King George Square, this is the perfect spot for pre- and post-show hospitality.

The EPICURE Fashion Bar will operate each evening from 5.30pm through until 8.30pm. The Fashion Bar will be cashless and any guests looking to purchase should have credit or debit card.

Please also note that access to The Fashion Bar gusts must be over 18 years of age.

Brisbane Fashion Festival is using the new Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe. The Fashion Festival is adopting the app to help us collect your details quickly, easily and electronically as you arrive. The Check In Qld app is free, easy to use and convenient. When you sign up to use the Check In Qld app, the app will remember your details, saving you time in the future and provide easy check-in across all Queensland venues. Once you’re set up, all you need to do when attending the Brisbane Fashion Festival is scan the QR code or type in the unique code provided.

You can download the Check In Qld app from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

At the Festival and participating venues, open the app, select ‘Check In Now’ and hover your smartphone over the displayed Check In Qld QR code.

Add in any additional people—those who are with you without their own device or app.

When the check-in is complete, show event staff the app successful check in screen.

How do I volunteer at the Brisbane Fashion Festival?2021-02-27T10:08:36+10:00

Each year we enlist the help of volunteers in a number of different areas, including Front of House (ushers), Back of House (dressers) and Drivers. Volunteer applications will open in early July and at this time you will be able to apply online via our Volunteers page.

Our official Hair and Makeup Partners for Brisbane Fashion Festival are Schwarzkopf Professional and Issada Cosmetics. We do not employ freelance stylists.

How do you select models for the Fashion Festival?2021-02-25T21:17:03+10:00

Brisbane Fashion Festival only employs experienced runway models from professional modelling agencies. All of our model bookings will be made directly with the agencies.

How can I apply for Media Accreditation for the Brisbane Fashion Festival?2021-02-27T10:07:28+10:00

This is a consumer ticketed event. We do also welcome a select number of media, bloggers, and photographers to cover the event. If you would like to apply for Media Accreditation, applications are assessed on an individual basis. Please contact us if you wish to apply.

I purchased a Platinum or Gold Pass. What time should I arrive and how do I get to the VIP Runway Lounge?2021-05-25T13:35:23+10:00

Access to the VIP Runway Lounge opens seventy five minutes prior to the show start time advertised on your ticket. When you arrive at Brisbane City Hall, simply follow the signs to the Hamilton Lounge or ask one of our friendly volunteers for directions to the Lounge. Ensure you bring your entrée card included with your ticket, as this is required for access. Please note access to the Lounge is restricted to patrons 18+.

I am travelling by car, where can I park?2021-05-25T13:19:12+10:00

Car Parking

King George Square Car Park is located underneath King George Square at Brisbane City Hall between Ann and Adelaide Streets. Vehicle entry is via Roma and Adelaide Streets and exit is via Roma Street. Parking rate is a flat fee of $5 on Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm to midnight.

The Myer Centre Brisbane also offers parking for guests attending the Festival. Entry after 4pm is a flat rate of $5.00 and is valid for online bookings. The promo code is FASHION21 and bookings can be made here The Myer Centre
