Delight in a showcase of fresh, creative, and avant-garde artistry as the future of fashion hits the runway for the Hancock Prospecting Next Gen Group Show.

The Next Gen Group Show is always one of the most anticipated events on the Fashion Festival calendar, drawing crowds of young fashionistas and industry insiders alike to witness the fresh, creative, and diverse aesthetics of Queensland’s most talented up-and-coming designers. The show includes emerging labels as well as students from the State’s top fashion colleges.

The Next Gen Group Show has consistently provided some of the most impressive visuals, uncompromising aesthetics, and fashion collections with a message: spotlighting issues such as sustainability, gender fluidity and neutrality, diversity, and fashion inclusivity for all.

Show goers will be treated to the diverse and creative visions of Rachel Burke, QUT Fashion, TAFE Queensland Brisbane, KG BOLD, JOTÉO, YLD Design,
Practice Studio, Balaquin, Analia The Label, Fashion360, Lightning Boy by CJ, Desert Lily Vintage,
and Kamara Australia.

F&B: Guests are also welcomed at The EPICURE Fashion Bar located in King George Square next to the parade concourse. The EPICURE Fashion Bar will operate from 5.30pm through until 9.00pm. Access: King George Square is parade central for all Group Shows at this year’s Brisbane Fashion Festival and will be staged in a purpose-built marquee.

Situated in front of Brisbane City Hall, and accessible by foot from Ann or Adelaide Street, King George Square is an easy stroll.

There is a taxi drop-off point on the corner of Ann and Roma Street, and a short 30m walk to King George Square.

For those looking to drive, consider King George Square Car Park. Entry after 4.30pm is a flat rate of $5.00.

Accessibility: Pedestrians can access the car park from the King George Square stairs, off Ann Street, near the King George V memorial. There is also a pedestrian pathway onto Adelaide Street. Disabled access at street level is available from Level A. Limited spaces are available on Level A for parents and carers with children/prams. There is direct access to Adelaide Street. Limited spaces are also available on Level A for valid disability parking permit holders.

Parking options: The Myer Centre and QueensPlaza are offering $3 off evening parking for guests attending the Festival. Entry after 4pm and is valid for online bookings only. The promo code is BFF23 and bookings can be made here for The Myer Centre or here for QueensPlaza.
