The Best of Queensland and Australian Fashion:

Brisbane Fashion Festival Program Unveiled

Brisbane Fashion Festival organisers have released the full program of events and participating designers for 2024, showcasing a bigger, brighter and bolder program than ever.

With the support of Principal Partner, Brisbane Economic Development Agency, Brisbane Fashion Festival returns to King George Square in the heart of The City from Sunday 25 – Friday 30 August.

The program promises to delight fashion fans, with a line-up of over 50 designers, retailers, and fashion precincts presenting must-have collections for the new Spring/Summer season.

Featuring dozens of Queensland favourites, coveted national labels, and the brightest up-and-coming talent, guests can expect a fresh, diverse, and inspiring celebration of new-season fashion.

With seating capacity amped up to 700 guests per runway show, thousands of fashion fans are invited to enjoy the style spectacular. Capacity has been increased due to the incredible response to the 2023 Festival and anticipated sell-out of events again this year.

“We are proud to unveil our program for Brisbane Fashion Festival 2024, with a strong line-up of designers and retailers that will no doubt inspire fashion fans to choose local,” said Festival Director Lindsay Bennett.

“At the heart of Brisbane Fashion Festival is our dedication to driving fashion retail for Queensland. Not only a sensational showcase inspiring the joy of fashion, the Festival provides a crucial platform to connect our local designers and fashion retailers with an audience of potential customers. Our event showcases new-season collections as they land in-stores and online, so inspired audiences can shop the runway and choose local for their new wardrobe must-haves,” said Mr Bennett.

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said Brisbane Fashion Festival was an eclectic showcase of colour and style that reinforced Brisbane’s reputation as a global destination for fashion and creativity.

“Brisbane Fashion Festival is an opportunity for local and national talent to showcase their designs and give shoppers a sneak preview of their latest collections,” Cr Schrinner said.

“More than 4000 fashion enthusiasts are expected to attend over the six day event, who will shop, dine and stay in our city, supporting local jobs and providing a significant boost to our local economy.

“We can’t wait to welcome local residents and visitors to our city to celebrate and support Brisbane’s local talent.”
